Default convert from MAP to MAF?

I have a 1995 300ci w/ the M5R2 5speed tranny. I think 1996 was the first and last year they put the MAF sensor on this engine and I heard alot of positive things having a MAF over the MAP. Question is, can I do it? and what will it do to benefit me?

I have a 1994 f150xl 300 4.9l with a MAF and the only thing i have to say is that all mods to your airfilter are out the window if you do switch...at least from what i have seen from online there are no performance intakes for the MAF sensor

Yes I don't really care, I have a K&N drop in filter and that should still be compatible. But does it help mpg's?

all performance mods are out the window with map, not maf. and 1996 was obdII so that's pretty much out of the question as well. unless you can find a kit somewhere i dont know how to go about putting maf on the 4.9. unless you happen to find a 1995 california f150 with a 4.9. i think they were maf

cam pretty much no. MAP doesn't adjust for the more fuel and air you are taking in like MAF does, so you will just be wasting fuel. and money. i believe anyway. wait for a second opinion on the injectors, and can you even get a chip for your truck?

302 injectors have basically the same flow rate as the -6, but if you go with any bigger injector you will be running rich and wasting fuel due to the map computer is calibrated for certain parameter injector, unlike maf the computer adjusts the air fuel ratio for larger injectors.
