confused about leveling
so I've been looking over options for leveling my truck in the indefinite future, and I'm a bit confused about the ways to do that and what things are meant to be done together/by themselves. I know there are spacers for the springs, I could get longer springs, and I could get so-called lift shocks like the bilstein 5100's. Will any of these items level the truck by itself? I'm confused on what (if anything) is meant to be done together. anyone help me out?
I put springs in mine, its not perfectly level, but looks goods...I used stock springs for an extended cab for my short bed reg. cab.
Keep in mind this will affect the camber in the front end alignment, you will need camber shims

You need either a longer spring or a spacer for the front. You will need a shock that would match this length or you will destroy any shock you put on it. After that, you'll need an alignment. Leveling usually isn't so drastic that you need to make any big changes.
I found the Moog link

so if I wanted to lift the truck say 2", I would browse through that table and find the spring with an install height 2" greater than mine with all the other numbers as close to mine as possible?
So here is the list of longer springs I found with the correct mounting style on both ends (pigtail/pigtail):
Model # Load Spring Rate Install Height
820 1428 366 12.13
822 1230 366 13
824 1442 366 13
826 1379 394 15
828 1650 420 15
864 1182 532 15.5
860 1510 512 15.5
860S 1797 549 16
I have either the 820, 822, or 824 on now. I'll have to dig out my receipt to find out which. But the load and spring rate go up pretty steeply. For example, if I wanted to lift 3" and went with the 860S, would the increase in load and spring rate just be too much?
