Default codes

Just pulled KOEO codes. I haven't pulled KOER codes because the truck won't start? 1989 4.9 straight 6 f150. The codes are confusing. first series was 6767 and the 2nd was 1 then 2 second delay followed by 3232. These codes don't match with anything. I posted the problem Monday and haven't gotten any input yet but the truck stalled and didn't start up for over an hour. Like no gas was getting to the engine. I started with the fuel filter. Checked the gas and didn't see any water in it, but it felt like bad gas hesitation. Any help with codes?

Park/Neutral circuit fault - PNP is 67
the one means the start of saved codes
EVP signal is/was low - EVR is 32

You truck uses 2 digit codes. They are each repeated twice. Looks like the neutral safety switch is jacked. Also your shifter cable could be out of adjustment. One way or another your truck thinks its in gear, hence the no starting.

It's a 4 speed stick. Does that matter? What would cause the "fuel" problem? Any guess?

EVP is the Erg Position Sensor.

That wound not cause a not start situation. The 67 is the root of your issue. Some stick transmission have a MLP sensor to detect the position of the stick.

I assumed that you had and auto. My experience with ford manuals only includes M5ODR1 so, I'm not too much help there.

Code 67 could also mean Transmission Manual Lever Position (MLP) sensor circuit - Transmissions.

Thanks. I had the safety switch problem on my wifes Jeep. Expensive to replace, easy to bypass.

67 is the clutch switch. You will get that code if you don't hold the clutch in during the test. Not an important code.
