Make sure the vac hose to the MAP sensor is not comprimized, and if ok, Try disconnecting the battery for 5 mins. to clear the KAM. You did the dynamic response test right? That code is specific to that test!

The vacumn hose appears fine. I disconnected the battery to clear the code. Auto Zone put their analyzer to come up with the code. I don't know about the dynamic test. Thanks

During the KOER (key On Engine Running) the scanner signals the operator to step on the accelerator at a specific point in the test. I'd remove & clean the EGR & the portways where it mounts to the air intake. It could be functioning, but barely within it's acceptable perimeters due to a partial blockage. I'm surprised your not showing an o2 sensor out of range.

I cleaned the EGR valve and port and the light stills comes on. It runs fine but the light comes on after it's totally warmed up and driving. KOEO flashed 72 again. I tested it. Thanks

Do you still have your cats in your exhaust? If not I'd imagine that would throw a CEL. I'm hoping that's what mine is from

When I bought the truck 12 years ago the previous owner had removed the convertor. I've never had this problem till a few months ago. Thanks

I did the KOER test and 172 code came up. Does this truck have a MAF sensor? Thanks

If it has as MAP, It doesn't have a MAF! How old is the O2 sensor? When they go, it's usually "Lean"(172).
