First you're adjusting non existent kickdown cables and now asking a question I already answered, read post #6. Did you get rid of that oil bath air filter yet or are you going to keep having problems with your truck? By all means, leave it on there if you want to keep replacing fouled out contaminated MAF sensors when the oil cannot be cleaned off and having problems with your truck, it's not mine.

Prediction: He will continue use of the filter at least until he fries the MAF Sensor.

good thing i kept the stock air intake.. why did no one say anything about all that oil when i asked about k&n filters before i bought it? why is there so much oil on the filters in the first place if it messes with stuff? and could this be a reason for my VERY consistent 12 mpg no matter how i drive?

E40D's downshift via the TPS position in relation to roll speed, especially when the PCM sees WOT (Wide Open Throttle,) therefore, there is no need for a downshift cable since the hydraulics are controlled by electronic valve solenoids inside the valve body and not mechanically at the transmission by a "downshift" cable.

No one told you about oil bath air filters used with MAF sensors because that doesn't help the guy behind the counter's commission quota at the end of the month.

Your a wise man, you kept the stock intake! Now put that bad boy back on there.

I think you should disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes, then go for a drive, so the sensors can readjust quicker to get it running properly.
