CNG question
Hello all,
I am sure this is a stupid question: I just purchased a 1996 F-150 that is set up to run on both gasoline and natural gas. Obviously I am anxious to begin running on CNG, but I seem to be defeated by a simple switch... On the left side of the steering wheel where the tank selector switch is located there is instead a switch with two settings: "CGI" and "Gas". When I select "CGI" and start the truck, a green LED light begins to blink at me and the fuel gauge does not change position. (like it would had I selected a different tank) I am not sure if perhaps I am doing something wrong but it seems to me that this green light should remain solid if anything assuming everything was fine with the system. Does anyone have experience with this type of vehicle, it is quite possibly an aftermarket conversion.
Thank you.
