Default clutch help ASAP!

New here, and need some help please. I recently got a 1993 F150 with a I6 and a 5spd. On the way home from work i exited the freeway and when i pushed in the clutch it made a popping sound and the clutch went to the floor and never came back. I managed to limp it home in second. I looked online at several auto parts stores and there seems to be no cable. So anyone have any idea what happened or how to fix it?

Any help would be GREATLY Appreciated.

it should be hydraulic system no cable..check for any leaks on line connection, make sure u have enough fluid.if not leak may be the seal on cylinder give up. check tose things first . then check if every thing ok where rod connects to transmission u can feel if there is anything lose there

With the clutch pedal staying on the floor, you'll also want to check
under the dash. Check return spring and linkage to master cylinder.

Are you feeling any resistance when you push the pedal, other than the
return spring? Do you have an inspection plate on the bell housing?
If you do ,take it off and see if any loose parts fall out.

Sounds like the clutch master cylinder pushrod broke and/or came off the pedal. I've also seen the master cylinder separate from the firewall mounting bracket.
