Jus gota 89 F150 and among numerous other probs the speedo and tach stay at 0 the charging gauge is way past 0 amps fuel gauge always 3/4 full, and temp always low any ideas? btw it is 5.0 4 spd 4wd 1/2 ton

The speedo is mechanical, it should work even if the cluster lost power. Almost none of these trucks fuel gauges work, not because of the cluster but because of the fuel level sending unit. Most of the trucks run low on the temperature gauge. How does the oil gauge work?

oil says it is pegged all the way out i got this truck given to me w a alot of problems ive been un****ing for a week strait and stiil have t put a drop on the bucket. it had no brakes, is still cross filling, no gauges no heat no 4wd gota love hillbilly mechanics
