I hear the Motorcraft Carb cleaner is awesome for this. I'm sure others will give some other good brands/products but, 'tis all I know.....

Any Carb cleaner. don't hold the valve in such a manner that it drains into the solenoid.

I was told a couple of years ago when i had a ford probe to use brake parts cleaner 'cause carb cleaner leaves a lubicating film where the brake parts cleaner doesnt. the film tends to cause it to stick later causing you to have to repeat the cleaning.

I can live w/ that. Or maybe C/C followed by B/C. Use a q-tip around the seat.
