i know there was a couple people on here who have turned thier chrome
bumpers and exhaust tips from chrome to black.

i want to do this to my 94 f150 i want to changed the whole front and rear bumper from chrome to black.

what do i have to do and how ?

show me pics please or other links for info

Mine had the gray bumper and gray grill.



I used plastidip on the grill and truck bed coating for the bumper.

Duplicolor (I think) has a black chrome aerosol available.....that might look hot.

i know what your talking about, friend of mine did it on his rims.
i dont really like the look of it.

i want more of a flat black.

scuff up the bumper with a wire wheel and tge rustoleum bedliner will never come off. it doesnt dry matte black like spray paint either. it has some sparkles in it so itd look nice

The bumper I sanded the rough spots down a bit then sprayed the truck bed coating.

The Grill I cleaned it up (no sanding) and sprayed plastidip. Which doesn't seem to hold very well.

I did the bumper last night and the grill a week ago.

oh okay looks good in the pictures.

im actually think about sanding the bumper
with nice thin paper just to clean it up and paint it with 2 coats
and then clear

should be to bad right ?
its just the two bumpers and the windshield frame.
which idk how to take off yet

Depends what you use. I only had to do one coat.

Windshield frame is clipped on, pull on it and use a screw driver to unclip them. Just don't pull too hard when pulling on it.

alright kool im going to get into this
maybe this week thanks for everything.

im going to paint my brakes and retouch the inner wheel plastics and whatever is seen in there lol and then ima start the bumpers.
