It will sound like an old tractor. Buy a performance muffler! Lol

I don't even run a muffler and it sounds better than a glass pack.

I drove with glasspacks on my old truck for a long period of time. You'll love the sound

Go to this link: https://www.f150forum.com/f10/true-duals-154399/

It has a video of glasspacks on a 300.

A nice chambered muffler like a flowmaster or magnaflow will sound better than a straight glasspack. Unless you are catless, if youre catless, then a glasspack will sound pretty mean.

My kids truck (4.9l) straight piped with hollow cat, sounds like a tractor to me. I was thinking of putting on a Thrush Turbo muffler, just for laughs..... You want it loud huh, I'll give you loud. Had Thrush on a AMX back in the eighties... you could hear that car coming from a mile away. Literally!

Mine is straight piped with both my cats and it sounds good but it's too low, I had a thrush on it and it sounded just like it did with the stock muffler , but like I said everything was still in tacked. Eventually my rear cat will be knocked out and eaither straight piped or my thrust put back on.

I still have both cats on mine but I had a glass pack for 6 months and it didn't sound real great to me. Few months ago I picked up a flowmaster muffler with duals out the back from the scrap yard and it sounds much better.
