Default Checking Spark Plugs

Having engine problems after changing the B1S1 and B2S1 O2's, and I was wondering how long does it take for the new spark plug ceramics to darken so I can inspect them. Right now I have two hours on them, and they are all white still. I would drive it around more, but the engine is shaking so bad that I don't want to drive it unless I have to. Thanks

sounds to me if your enigne is shaking that bad, you have something major not just an o2 sensor.

I know its not the O2's directly. But the shaking started 200 miles after changing them, on my way to college. I want to know how long it takes for the plugs to darken so I know if all of the cylinders are firing. I'm thinking it's a vacuum leak, or ignition coil/not getting enough spark or something. But until my friend can come over to see what codes I are on the truck now, my only question is how long does it take for the ceramic on the plugs to darken so I can look at them.

Make sure you did not cross a wire. Happens all the time and easier to do then most people think. Especially if you changed the wires and plugs at the same time.

That wouldn't give delayed onset shaking after 200 miles would it? Seems like crossed wires = immediate symptoms

Probably not but it never hurts to check. Could be a cracked plug also.

Sorry I didn't specify when I chanced the plugs. I changed the plugs the day after it started shaking. After reading more, I think think the problem is when I cleaned my MAF(day before problems started), I got some of the cleaner in the IAC. But the plugs should darken in a few minutes?
