Default Changing gears and speedo

How do I go about recalibrating the speedoo for a gear change? Liek in a mustang you can change the gear int he tranny and the newer ones can use the speed cal from DMS. Can the speed cal work on the F-150's?

I am putting the lightning rear supension and 8.8 in tomorrow and would liek for the speedo to read correct.

The F150's '92 and up are electronic speedometers, no gears in the tranny. The speedometer sensor is in the rear end so if you are using the Lightning rear end, computer, cluster and stock Lightning sized tires you should be fine.

also the moon has to be in the right spot and you must click your seat belt three time before turning the truck on.

Don't you need to use the Lightning computer for the engine to run right?
