Default CEL code 332 diagnosis

I have a CEL code 332, "EGR valve not opening" although some argue it as "Insufficient EGR flow" and I am not 100% sure whats wrong.

I have a 93 302, that I swapped a GT40 manifold onto. I am using an adapter plate so I am using my OE EGR valve and I wired it in correctly and have the little vacuum fitting on top of the valve. Prior to the swap, the OE EGR tube was broken by my mechanic when he installed my new engine (which makes me believe it isn't an insufficient flow going to my valve since it was sucking in air) and I did NOT have a CEL from it. So I believe my EGR valve is not opening.

Is there any way to test it? I am thinking I have a broken connection somewhere in the wiring. If I can test it before I pull my harness apart again I will be happy.

BTW, my codes read 111, 111, 1, 332, 332. Is that normal?

The ones sounds like it's actually your system pass... which is 11. They do repeat codes. I'm not sure what 111 is, if it is in fact being read correctly. 332 is insufficient flow. I had it myself at one point. I had a block plate. Removed that, golden. Try cleaning your EGR. Insufficient flow doesn't mean that it's flowing, but not well. Could very well mean it's just not flowing.

11 and 111 are both system pass codes.

Why did you have to wire it in if you used the stock one?
