cb/ fuse block question

Default cb/ fuse block question

ok all you folks out there in forum world ive got my cobra in my truck and plugged into my power outlet but i get alot of alternator noise
now i was told to just put the power wire into a fuse such as a 15 and just let it be so is there any safety issues with that such as a fire

I hooked mine up like that once and didn't have a problem. I also hooked it up to the battery if you want to run a wire.

hardware store! You can get a whole role of like 14/16 ga. for pretty cheap.

to add to the problem i have no job and must keep gas in the truck money is very scarce

Hardware store has a add a circuit to plug into your fuse box, usually like $2. Thats how I hooked up my CB.

the add a circuit seems like a good idea ive got the cb wired into a fuse but im still getting alot of noise from the alternator
