can't find a knock sensor

Can't find a source for a knock sensor for 1995 4.9. Could someone check some part stores in your area? Ford obsoleted them is what I was told. Hate to get rid of it because of a $50 part. Thanx

As far as I know, anyone that needed one got it from the junkyard. I don't see why you couldn't make just about any other one work.

x2! I wouldn't say a generic part, but the same unit is used on a lot of different years.
