Default Calibrate Speedometer?

In a previous thread a couple members were talking about how on the early 90s trucks you can electronically change your speedometer X amount of times yourself. If this correct, or were they just messing with the forum?

I would use that thread but it was about a late 80's truck if I recall correctly, so I dont want to jack that thread.

I have tried a search with no luck...

Thanks

Same as car jacking, but with a thread.

Reprogramming works for '92-'96.
