I have no control over the temperature with the red/blue **** on the console on my '95. When I turn on either the regular vent or the a/c I get nothing but heat blowing through. Do I just have a bad switch or is it something worse?

 

does the **** click when you turn it? It isn't supposed to, I have the same problem, but shes stuck on cold right now, and I can't find a replacement one at any auto zones

 

Hot/cold settings are controlled by a cable connected to the blend door and the switch. It is possible the cable or clips broke and now it won't move the door.

 

The **** doesn't click or act like it is grabbing on anything. I'll check the cable to see if it still attached.

 

the switch was just broken. I pulled the thing apart and got the old one out. I am just waiting for the replacement part. Thanks for the help.
