No matter what is selected, if the fan is spinning and the cage is secure the air is definitely going somewhere.

True true. I wonder if the fan may be loose from the motor. The motor would spin but the fan might not be turning. Still would not account for all of the problem but may be some of it.

I sat the fan with cage still attachted on top the engine so i can see it from in the cab and its spinning like crazy

think i may have found my air flow problem, i didnt see this when i pulled it out the first time

also went a head and changed out this while i was under the hood, i already bought it months ago anyway. so i tryed blowing threw it and i couldnt at all no matter how much i just couldnt.
