Smile Bumper restoration thread

I picked up a plain black front bumper from the scrap yard for 65 bucks even came with the front cowl i figured it would be good to post some pictures and some tips on how to restore a sorta rusty front bumper into a rust free rust proof front bumper that can take a beating for years to come

My plan is to break it down to just parts sand all the rust off and get most of the paint off patch it up with some bondo in the small dents or pits put 2 coats of primer on it then some spray on bed liner.

here is what i done to it so far... just removed the brackets.

yeah i would say so I got some strange looks from my neighbor as he drove by i was using both hands and feet LOL my old bumber is shot with a massive hole on the side so i might just make it into a cool cd rack or something i used rubberized undercoating it looks nice and should hold up to the elements
