Can some one point me to a good write up or article on how to take my hubs out and do my front rotors on my 4x4 f150.

mine was just 3 little screws and a snap ring, takes like 1 min to take off lol.

You will need a hub socket as well I believe

So taking everything apart and getting the rotor off is pretty straight forward? Also with everything off i can repack the wheel bearing too?

yes you can, everything comes off lol. its pretty straight forward once you take it off once and see whats in there. hardest part was pulling the new lugs through.

Do i need the rotors with or without the hub housing? And what other parts/ tools will i need

i reused the hub housing, its up to you if you want a new one or not. you will need a torque wrench and snap ring pliers.
