Default brake light

I have a 1992 F150. I was driving down the road the other night and my red brake light and the orange ABS light both came on. They never went off and they are still on whenever i drive it now. Any ideas what it could be. Thanks

Three posible causes come to mind, low on brake fluid = red brake light. Malfunction in either front or rear brakes and equalizer valve shifted = red brake light. The parking brake not fully releasing = red brake lite. Can't help you with the ABS light, others will have to chime in.

The ABS is read off the sensor on the rear chunk. All of this runs through the PCM. So I would pull the codes to see what they told you. Have your brakes changed any since the lights came on?

Your brakes might be getting low, it happened on my ranger, both lites came on, put new brakes on, lites went out.
