Brake issue
Greetings everyone. New here. I have a 1996 Ford F150 Eddie Bauer edition. Just changed both front rotors, bearing, seals and brake pads. Take it down the road and when I apply the brakes, I hear a slight thumping sound from the right side. Let off the brakes and it rides very quiet. I tore apart everything again this morning on the right side and checked the bearings and pads and caliber and so on. Cannot find anything out of the ordinary. Took it out again. Did the same thing. Pulled the tire off and checked again thinking maybe the brake pad clips were loose or bent. Not. The pads are in there nice and snug. I dont understand what the heck is going on. Anyone have any ideas?
I did a search of the forums and could not find anything similar to this..
BTW, this only happens going forward. Not reverse.

out of true rotor! take it off and have it checked at the place you bought it from. Or you can remove the tire, put the lug nuts back on snugly, and use a dial indicator with a magnetic base attachment as the rotor is spun to see for any lashing.
It's a Canadian thing eh!

How do the radius arm bushing look? Check the arm on the right side and see if the bracket is worn and the bushing is still there. Also hope you set the bearings right.
