Default on board compressor?

welp, the brother inlaw blew up his lincoln 97 town car with air ride. im thinking take the compressor for the airbags (never seen it and im not sure where its at) and wiring it up in the truck. im thinking... mount a portable air tank under the hood or tuck it up in one of the bed sides. im sure me or a buddy has a tank so im thinking for @ $25 worth of lines and fittings, i can have a pretty nice onboard compressor set up. anyone want to add their 2 cents?

Most factory suspension compressors are a relatively low volume application. This means that it will take about 5 to 10 minutes to inflate a tire.

Ha. Maybe i'll pull a rear wheel off and see what would be involved in swapping the disc onto the truck. Unless you want to ruin that for me too... actually if I remember right, the rotors are pretty small so maybe I just wont worry about it.
