Hold the neck with a pair of pliers and tap on the head lightly with a hammer and work it back and forth with a socket. Should loosen up just don't over work it.

My sons 87 300 had a very low pedal also. We changed out the MC this weekend and after pumping the pedal several times he has a great pedal and the truck shifts great. We used to dread driving it as the clutch would barely disengage to shift and reverse was not happening while running. Now you can shift it to reverse with your pinky.

Bleeder should be sticking out of the side of the trans on the drivers side above where the clutch line goes in.

If your slave cylinders is leaking you want to get it taken care of quickly. Mine actually caught fire from the fluid on the clutch and the friction. Minimal damage but it was still a pain and expensive.

Lightbulb bleed clutch

I have 1990 f150 4+4, mine has the plastic screw on cap with the bladder attached on inside and..a small vent hole in the cap, now Im by myself so i took cap off, filled to the rim, compressed bladder best i could into cap and quickly screwed in on. Now I have a bicycle air pump that fills both shrader and the new skinny euro valves well the pumps tip fpr the euro valve fits right on the vent of the cap.I held pump tip on the cap vent tight and pumped the bladder inside the master up just 2 slow pumps.i held it for a minute released the hose and cracked the bleeder and tightened it i did that 3 times and its so good you get complete travel out of slave....if two people you could pump and other guy bleed.i used very small amount of fluid
