i was thinking about buying this intake and just clamp it to the 2 air tubes...looks like it will work!

As for the concerns about heat inside it, thats why its shaped the way it is to contour to the hood, i have since put a seal around the edge to help also aid the keeping out of hot air, do what you want but i can tell you mine works ive seen the effects of it and it was pretty simple. I wouldnt really go with a snorkle cuz of the hole in the fender and besides how much are you planning on going that far into water but lke i said to each there own
