remove the entire fender? or go get a second one to cut the whole in and when you need some extra power bolt on the snorkel.

This is the one (actually this is the two pieces together) that attaches to the same stock air filter box. Except it mounts on top of the grill frame & a lot larger collector opening & size does not reduce on the way to the air filter box. You'll find the holes to mount it on top of the grill frame are already there.

I am going to do this then. I know the more cold air the better but the drop in kits use the same intake tube as your regular air box so it really is not any improvement. If I use this though then it should funnel the cold air into my existing box.

Thats what i have. But its a perfect funnel for water. I hit a hole that was deeper than i thought once and i know that the wave cleared the truck. And i knew my intake was there and i was scared ****less

heres a random question if i put a snorkel on and it rains out wouldn't that collect the rain?

Most snorkels have a bent tip to prevent that. At least the ones that are not home made that I have seen have.

It is slanted backwards toward the roof. Not towards the front of the truck.
