Default best bang for the $$

Hello all! I have a stock 1988 EFI F150 302 AOD. I only use it (so far) to pull a camper and some misc stuff. My question is whats the cheapest way to get the most HP/Tourq out of her. I need the extra power. I was thinking of a tune-up, cap, roter, wires, hot coil & TFI Ignition Control Module combo. Any advise on parts/brands to go with? Any info is welcomed. thanks in advance.

RE: MSD Supercoductor wires, Not just better to begin w/, they really outlast the other brands too. Do the whole ignition system upgrade, further advance base timing & increase plug gaps. About $170 for everything including the Superconductors. http://fullsizebronco.com/forum/show...ht=timing+bump

Don't get a cold air intake, just insulate your air intake components like the tubes and the air box with that sticky aluminum bubble wrap stuff. I don't know what it's called but it's pretty common. With those insulated, the air going into your engine will be colder/denser.

WTF! WTF!

Keep the bubble wrap in a box, use it to ship something, THAT'S IT!

I agree..the aluminum wrapping looks cheesy...find the air tube from the airbox to the front of the truck from a 460 or 300 Inline 6.
