Default Bench seat replacement

Just recently picked up an 88' f150 xlt lariat and wanting to replace the whole bench seat. Anyone know of a good place to pick one up online or any suggestions on reliable junk yards? I live in southern Maryland. Probably will be heading to couple of local junk yards this week sometime but wanted to hear what everyone else had in mind.

I asked a (Ford fanatic) friend nearly the same question when I got my truck. His reply was something like; What sort of seat(s) would you want? Buckets, split bench, same type bench, all could either fit directly or be made to fit. Color is also a question. I further asked what years might cross into my '90 model, and he wasn't exactly sure. The long and the short of it, in my opinion and his, is that you (and I) should go find a seat that you like, and make it work. You might have to do a little fabrication work, or drill a few holes. I'm going to look for a 60/40 split or a set of buckets myself, then recover them in blue denim.
Junk yard seats will be ok if the donar vehicle didn't expose them to too much weather. Sorry I couldn't offer any specific help, but maybe others on here can.

Have you tried Craigslist? I've found killer deals on things for mine on there. Usually pretty cheap and in half decent shape.

Default seat

Just wondering, are you wanting to replace because its in bad shape, or you want a different style/type seat? if its worn to the point that a seatcover wouldnt help, there are several companies that sell replacement foam, etc for stock seats www.LMCtruck.com is one, but there are several.
Hope this helps...

Yeah that helps out. Yes I am trying to replace the worn seat and wanted to just buy a used one that is in much better shape than the one I have currently. This is not a show truck and not really wanting to ever make it one. Just want something quick and easy (not a cover) to replace the existing.
