Hey guys I know it's been a while since I've posted but I've been so busy using my truck for work and yesterday I hauled a big load of lumber and I think one of my pulleys started makin a high pitch noise. At first I thought it was the tensioner but it wasn't cause I replaced it. The belt is only about 7 months old too so I know it ain't that. Does anybody have any ideas of what it could be, any advice or help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

 

If you remove the belt and spin the pulleys by hand and feel movement in them, it means that the bearings are probably going and need to be replaced.

 

Turns out it was the smog pump, I know you don't need it but I bought a new one and replaced it, she's running good now

 

Yeah keep it, my fiancé's younger brother got a 360$ fine for not having it on and we don't even have emissions testing here but its province wide regulation.

 

Damn that sucks, yea I just figured I'd put a new one back on, I ain't gotta have emissions either I'm up in blue ridge, ga
