Default Beeping on start up

Hello everyone I am wondering why my truck beeps for a few minutes everytime I turn the key to run or start. What caused it was I had my dash apart looking for a squeak and I went to start it with no gauges/tank switch in it and all it did was sputter and start beeping. Truck runs fine with the dash back in now just beeps. I tried un hooking the battery and it didn't help. If anyone knows how to fix it or where the beeper is so I can unplug it would be great.

um.... i dont know about beeping? but my 94 used to buzz everytime i had the door open. if this is what you are talking about there is a little black button attached to the body of the truck inside where the door is attached. it pushes in when the door is closed, and pushes out when the door is open. you can simply unscrew it and un plug it then it doesnt make the noise anymore.

Nope not the door buzzer, my dad unplugged that when he owned the truck. This is a beeping that'll last for a few minutes and is un consistent

Well I've been busy with work so I haven't had time to look at it anymore, but it will beep on start up and then near the end of my commute which is about 45 minutes. I had it out on a 3 hour drive on the weekend and it would start beeping every 45 minutes or so.

Well I believe I found the issue to the beeping on another forum. It does 5 beeps 5 times and that's the air bag back up. I pulled the air bag bulb when I had the dash out because it flashes, and instead of the bulb flashing it now beeps.
