beeping sound

Default beeping sound

the beeping sound doesnt go away even when im driving, its the one that you hear when you turn on the truck, how can i make it stop?

There is a grey plug under the dash close to the gas pedal just un plug it

I just opened my door and followed the noise when u find the source of the noise just rip it out

Yeah same happened to me. On the driverside it is on the jamb below the door strike. Should have a rubber boot over it and is held with two bolts. The rubber was torn on mine so I guessed it was shorted out with dust/moisture. (i noticed it happened after washing truck) After you take it out and unplug it would stop chiming if thats your problem.

On passenger side its on the hinge side of door, so driverside is the one more likely to fail. A new one is $25 from LMC trucks.

Trust me, fix the chime, you will thank yourself when you leave the lights on or the key in the ignition.

X2 I've left my lights on before, because my buzzer is very weak, then later I try to start the truck and I'm not happy with a dead battery haha
