Default Bedliner as undercoat?

I need to undercoat my truck before winter, as thay use LOTS of salt where I live; and I'm just not sure what to use. This is gonna be her first year up from the south; 96 and no rust. ~Thanks!

Yep, spray on bed liner is f-ing badass for the bottom of the truck, looks awesome and will handle anything, if I ever get around to fixing all the rust on my Wisconsin rig I will for sure do the frame and wheel wells with bed liner.

No idea, the stuff is kind of expensive, maybe somebody else could chime in on that. I did my buddies four wheeler (brush guard, luggage racks, fenders) and that used two rattle cans of it, looks fantastic and has held up to some serious wheeling. Probably won't be cheap, I know a kit to do the bed is almost $100. If your just doing the wheel wells and frame one gallon would probably do it, if you want to do everything then??? All I know is I met a guy at a car show that had the entire bottom of his jeep done in it and it looked nice. No idea what it costed

Just the frame and wheel wells. I've helped do a f250 in POR15, and that was like $150 a gallon.

Make sure everything is clean and scuffed first. Prep is key!

How tough is it? Does it flake or crack?

i always wondered if you could just spray used oil on everything under there. it would make a mess but it would be free and keep it from rusting
