Default Bed Skins

Anyone bought bed skins from LMC? How are they? Metal thickness, fit, general quality? I have been looking for a rust free 8' box all over the upper midwest, not having much luck. Found a couple promising leads, one was a brand new takeoff back in 1996, sat for 16 years, a friend of mine told me about it, when the guy finally got contacted about it, it got sold a week prior! 16 years, then when I want it of course it gets sold... just my luck... another was a member on here, I thought I recognized his truck, cant remember his name though. Texas truck, moved to Iowa. Had it on Craigslist, when I contacted him on here found out it got sideswiped. Have another that my cousin owns out in California.. 1992 I think, 4x4, whole truck, not sure what they want for it as she wants to get rid of it, but her husband may think otherwise so they are "talking about it". Although it hasnt been driven in a very long time... but the cost of getting it here may be more than I want to pay. SO, was thinking about just putting new skins on it and wonder how LMC skins are. Much cheaper than OEM Ford.. but may be a "you get what you pay for" circumstance. If anyone in the upper midwest, or down into Missouri, Oklahoma, maybe even texas.. runs onto a rust free bed, will you please let me know?? Would be interested in a whole truck if its drivable, doesnt have to run great, but good enough to get me back to Iowa. Its just proving pretty difficult.

Went and looked at it after work...I do believe its going to be mine. Anyone have experience transporting one of these? I have a trailer it will fit on, but the body hangs below the bottom frame of the box. Best way of doing this? And thank you for finding that! It didn't come up under my search.

Also how much does the box weigh? I've never taken one off before. Good idea to but new bushings under the box or will that screw up the lines with the cab? Hmmmm replace the cab bushings too I suppose?
