ok why more amps ? if volts are right? have you or anyone that owned the truck before added anything non factory or aftermarket... youre not a cb radio guy with a big box amp or say new alpine stereo with big kickers and pre amp....?

 

got a cb, not hooked up tho, disconnected.

 

ok you say voltage is right , did you put a load on alternator say by turning ac on , lights etc and watch meter ,, hope its just tensioner ...good luck
