Default Basket cases....lots of them

please forgive me if i am in the wrong subject category....i am considering undertaking the restoration of a 93-96 F150.....i was looking at one i really liked and the buckets that hold the front springs were rusted horribly...can the buckets be replaced like the attachment that hold the radius arms??

the 92's to 96's are my favorites......unfortunately most of them are basket cases by now....any that are decent and the owners want good $$$$$...patience and fortitude required to find the right one :-)

When I bought my '93 in 2010 I checked because I had the same concern. Local Ford dealer had both sides on the shelf so it must be a common request...

They're like $100. Drill out the rivets, replace with hardened steel, grade 8 bolts. As big as you can fit in the hole.
