Bad ECM question
Getting code 211 PIP, i know the ECM is bad, I need to replace cause it will die when i plug in the SPOUT plug and run without. But will the bad ECM auto throw the 211 code or could there actually be something wrong with the distributor? Truck has been sitting for 2 years and is running rough when i finally got it started yesterday
When you post a code number, post its COMPLETE definition so we don't have to look it up. This caption contains all the codes for these trucks:

What exactly is bad about the EEC? If you know it's bad, why haven't you repaired or replaced it? Unplugging the SPOUT is not a diagnosis of anything.
After 2 years, you need to change the coolant SOON. Miles are irrelevant - coolant goes bad when it's in contact with metals. Read this caption:

It's also possible that the gas is going bad. Did you add stabilizer to it 2 years ago? If not, it won't help now. But a can or 3 of Berryman's B12 pour-in might. What is the fuel pressure?

Replaced both pumps this week and it has fresh fuel. I work out of town most of the year and haven’t been able to replace the computer. Now that I have the time this fall I’m getting the truck back to working order. I’ve ordered the computer and waiting for it
