A 95 mustang GT has no use having an EEC map values of a F-150 TRUCK, that's ludicrous. If you want to save money, more power to you but if the intention is to hot-rod it, there will be something missing, I promise.

I know that the explorers came with a 302 HO too and some even came with the Gt40 heads from factory if im not mistaken. I'm sure I can find something but if not then I'll tell him to get a reman one.
Just make sure he gets the right one for his car and asks wherever he gets if they would take a refund if he brought it back. Most do it, but not all.

YEP! Not to mention an F150 ECU will have a milder timing curve. (Ewww!)

If your PCM relay is not pooched (not allowing ECU power up) My money's on "a fried ECU".

Additionally, the power for the Feul pump relay runs through the PCM relay. It can be bypassed at the obd1 test terminal, but a mute point if the PCM relay is not functional.

I just replaced my ECU on my 90 f-150, picked one up at a wrecking yard for $64.00 works great.

*update* I swapped the computer and there still was no spark or fuel pump purging when turned into KOEO, However I did find out that it has a spark with the SPOUT pulled. And if im not mistaken the SPOUT is removed to bypass the PIP or pickup in the distributor which advances BTC. But if this part is bad would it effect fuel?

The PIP/ Staror tells the computer engine rotation. It is souly responsible for three aspects of rotation:
•Revolutions per minute – engine speed and acceleration
•Cylinder identification – which cylinder needs spark and fuel next
•Crankshaft / Camshaft position – when valves are opened and closed

However, the PIP signal must pass through the TFI module/ICM. Leave the PIP alone until you take your TFI/ ICM in for bench testing! Not saying they can't both be pooched, but start w/ the easy one. Also, SPOUT plug bypasses the TFI, not the PIP.
