Default average oil presure?

whats the average oil pressure for a 1994 l6 efi engine? im getting an oil presure gauge and im not sure if a 80 psi would cut it can it handle 80 psi? i doubt my oil prsures that high but just want to know if i should get an 100 psi or just the 80 thanks!

30-50 cold, 10-40 lbs running warmed up.

Using thicker oil. My 302 idles about 15 lbs and 30 running. I have mech gauge.

ok great thank you my truck is strange to say the least its a 5 speed with no tach and a oil temp volts and water temp along with the gas gauge so ive been wanting to get a tach oil pressure gauge and water pressure gauge if i have enough cash left over. i guess the 80 psi gauge will be fine for my stock truck

Water pressure? You mean temp? I never get gauges over 80 lbs.

no i mean water pressure LOL there's a gauge for that not to sure i need it though

Water pressure wont be more than a few pounds.

You know if it stops pumping from the temp gauge.

yeah LOL i thought it was over kill my self im guessing its for the big block race cars out there. any one know about replacing the crank case breather with a performance ones?

Performance breathers are not smog legal because they vent the gases into the atmosphere. But it keeps those nasty gases from running back into the combustion chamber to be burned.
