that remote would work great for tons of pranks. im thinking of tying in my off road lights to my alarm so if somone messes with it they will flash on and off either blinding them or attracting everyones attention with in the entire parking lot LOL

Well, I've gotta get my battery replaced first. Got home on my alternator. Tried to get home without my headlights knowing that I killed my battery after leaving the mirror map lights on for three days. Ran into a bad *** thunderstorm and had to turn on the headlights. Got home and it won't crank. Battery is totally dead. Thank goodness for the 3g 130!

I have never had issues with my alternator in my 94 I6, or battery i have left my lights on more then once thats for sure. and also have had my positive battery cable disconnect on me on the freeway. no issues with my system. however im not sure what alt i got in my rig. but i do know i am very thankful for installing my led bars because worst case i can run those with low draw and know where im going i beleve the max draw off the battery for both is 75 watts total? so i think thats less then both my head lights !

I'm more concerned with it being a fire hazard. That and the stock alt will not stand up to what I have planned for the truck.

The link you sent me was for a 240w light bar. Both headlights on low beam would be about 110w = 55w each. Your pulling more from those leds than you think. 80 3w led's per bar!

Edit. I can't complain after 4 years. Especially from a Wal-Mart Battery. I've left the lights on ALLOT! I'm surprised the battery has lasted this long. 3 days of constant draw and no charge, I'm not surprised that I killed a cell or two in my battery.
