auto to manual conversion
hello i have a 1992 5.0 ext cab f150 and i am wanting to switch it to manual from auto. i picked up a zf5 S5-42 with clutch and flywheel from a 1992 f350 with a 5.8 i am wondering if any one has any helpfull information for doing the swap. any help is appreciated
You will need the pedals, column, master, line, ecu from a 92-96 150-350, also need harness for neutral switch. And make sure the flywheel has the same imbalance as the 302 you are putting it behind, most later yrs use a 50oz flywheel, research and make sure the 351 flywheel will work on the 302.

Yes they put maf in autos, alot of crown vics have them also. Be careful of the computer unless you are changing the complete harness, obd1 and obd2 harnesses are different at the ecu.
...just playing devil's advocate. Seems like this is a long walk down a short pier to do a MAF conversion?
Why not check with these guys?
