Default AODE to AOD swap

what do i need to do to do this swap. i need a 4 speed overdrive that is not computer controled or is there a better choice.

nothing...just the trany its a straight forward swap...I prefer teh AOD over the others...

yes they are the same but one is electric and the other is mechanical...

the one i have is eletric and want to swap to the mechanical one. all i do is swap. just hard to think something can be that easy

ok i dont have the AODE i have a E40D. is it still just as easy a swap

You need the brackets to hook the kickdown cable to the throttle body if they're not on your truck. GM left them on their vehicles for a while.
