Default Anyone ever delt with a timing chain?

Ive been hearing this clicking sound from the truck when i get on the gas. As soon as i take my foot off, no more click. also, when its in park, i can rev all day, but again no click. the click also varies with the rpms. higher the rpm, faster the click. runs ok, i replaced the plugs and wires but it didnt help. also i am dealing with a coolant leak from the thermostat housing, but i dont think it is related. Any ideas???? I have no idea what it is. timing chain? exhaust manifold? no ideas.

Sounds like an exhaust leak, or a lifter, timing chains usually dont tick, or make noise.

Crawl under the truck and see if you have any obvious spots for an exhaust leak. Check around welds and clamps in particular, and listen. I can't imagine you'd need a stethoscope if the ticking is loud enough that you can hear it while driving.

Mine too does this. I'm almost positive it is lifter tick. I'll be driving down the road and put it in N, give some gas, no tick. What's up with this?
