Any suggestions?
Just picked it up this past weekend. 1992 XLT Lariat, 2WD, 5.0 ltr. 81K miles. Any suggestions as to what would look good for a wheel/tire combo? I like the biggest tires possible. Alll stock - everything works - just have to get a new fuel tank selection switch - it's pushed in now, so I have to reach in the dash to switch tanks. Anyway - your thoughts/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

That is a nice looking truck...super clean...I had a step side just like it, some nice chrome wheels and tires will look awesome.

i like the truck just to clean for me, do a 4x4 conversion on it.
whant kind of wheels and tires? are you looking for an offroad look or a street look?

that is a link for a pre runner set up. lol
and as far as flowmasters search a stang site to see what they are using, i've seen a set of pypes brand on a truck and it was the meanest sound ever. boomtubes from a stang also sound good on trucks.
just dont go with the tired old flowmasters everyone has, if i didnt get mine for free i wouldnt have it on my truck, and it will more than likely be removed soon.

Regarding making it a 4x4 - trust me - that was one of my first thoughts! But because of the $$ I'm sure it would take to change the whole front end and tranny, I would really like to go for the off-road look. After researching this site, I'm thinking the rough country 1.5" leveling kit would allow bigger tires all around...probably 31 or 32's. Thanks for the mustang advice for sound!

Why? You know why.
What is it with all you ppl shootin down a guy who wants a certain look on his truck? I used to drive 2wd trucks and with agressive tires and a couple of sandbags I got them through places I was told "impassible without 4wd".
Go for some nice 31s! in the winter grab some sandbags and dont take from anyone!
