If it wasn't a work truck the reg cab would be fine but with 2 welding helmets, a second set of carharts and gloves and boots you can barely see the passenger seat or floor! Lol
Exactly! I have the same problem, and I only do welding part time.

i dont see why you cant just put the 91 wiring harness in the 94, but i dont know what your 91 dont got. so you may need to do splicing. im not 100% sure on what is all different in the older trucks to newer trucks, but in my head it seems pretty straight forward haha. just pulling dash harnesses and swapping then keeping the 91 engine/trans harness.

The 91 harness is so different! The 87-91 trucks actually have more in common with the 80-86 trucks then they do with a 92-97.

For example my 91 has the same light switch as my 81 f350! Lol

Ya the way I look at it is the engine and transmission are the same as the 92 parts truck which has the same wiring as the 94 crew cab so in theory I should have everything I need to make it run with the 94 crew cab body on the 91 f250 frame!

Then I get the nicer 92+ front clip, the better dash and column and the better wiring in general.

You are doing a little like I am doing with my brother's 96 ranger making a mutt dog truck.

To make it easiest yes you would have to use the 92 wiring harness because everything should just plug in. Only problem is that the 92 harness may be a little short to go to the tail lights so you will probably have to use the 94 crew cabs tail light harness if the tail light harness is longer than the 92s. If not you are going to have to splice wires in to make it longer. Personally that is the only issue I see coming up. You would probably have to use the 92 computer also.

Ya I know I will need the 92 computer, but I was hoping the frame harness of the 91 could be retained. I couldn't be that lucky lol!

It is possible that they could be the same but I highly doubt it with the way Ford changes things up so often. Being they changed so much wiring up inside I would bet the frame harness is different too.

I think the frame harnesses are mostly the same only difference I see is the fuel pump connectors may be different I know they changed them in either 94 or 95 I don't know if they changed from 8th to 9th gen though
