Default analog gauges

I want to switch my 87 f150 5.0 over to analog gauges. Am i able to just screw water temp and oil line into where the old sending units are screwed in. They are easy for me to get to and I wont have to tap anything. Also i plan on useing a sunpro kit do i need any adapters for these fittings.
Keep in mind i'm a weekend warrior not seasoned gearhead.

Tee off the oil, you can use both gauges. Don't remove the temp sensor for the computer, find a different hole to run both temp gauges.

There are two temperature sensors, one for the gauge and one for the computer. You don't need the one for the gauge if you don't want it, just don't remove the wrong one.

I just put a sunpro oil pressure gauge(electrical) in my truck a month or 2 ago. I needed a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter so it would fit in the block where the stock sender was.

It's as simple as unscrewing the old sender, then putting the new one on there, then running the wire to the gauge. Took me about 15 minutes the second time.

Hour the 1st time because I had a bad sender and didn't know it until everything was together and tried to troubleshoot haha

Yup. And at least on my I6, the sensor for the computer is right by the thermostat, and the sender for the gauge is down on the driver side of the block.

You'll know right away if you pull the wrong one haha, whether it's the hard way or not
