Default alternator
Anybody know where to find the best price for a alternator and what kind I would need by chance mines got a diode stuck open. Its a 89 4x4 with an 4.9 I6 EFI

IMO, in most cases you get what you paid for and an alternator is one of those cases. If you buy the cheapest, you probably will be changing it out again in 8-9 months.
