altenator?

Default altenator?

If my trucks altenator is 65 amps and im replacing it i can go with an 80 amp this wont mess with my battery and it will bolt up correctly?Can i also go with a altenator that puts out more amps then 80?

you can go with an alternator that put out much more that 80 amps without hurting a thing. Just because it has the ability to put out that much doesnt mean that what it does all of the time. Just get a factory replacement that puts out more.

The higher amperage wont mess it up, Usually people put on higher amp alt. when the have access. that draw a lot of power.
