Okay Ive been doing research all day on the 4r70w transmission. And what ive found is alot of people use this transmission for swaps, mostly mustangs and a few older ford cars. they said they wired the transmissions up them selfs using wiring diagrams. So why cant I just do this? why do you guys say I need to change the computer and harness? I just need a good explanation thats all. my donor truck has the exact same harness under the hood as my truck. all the sensors are the same? motor is the same...I dont know please try and explain this to me?

I told you some made it work by changing the transmission plug. I don't remember what was involved, but some rewiring is likely.
