Alignment questions
Well I've looked around and read mixed reviews on what is needed to align these trucks. My 2" leveling kit and 33s will be going on tomorrow and I want to make my alignment as easy as possible. I've read where some people just take their trucks in with no issues and $80-$100 later they are good to go. But I've also seen where people paid $250-$300 to get it right. Also, what's the deal with the adjustable camber bushings? Some people say they're great, some say that they're horrible and most places don't know how to use them properly, and others say they aren't needed unless you have +5" of lift.
I have a '91 2wd with a 2.5" level on 31s. I had 3 degrees positive camber after install. The only people you're seeing that don't need the bushings are the ones with sagging springs.
As far as bushings, they are 20 bucks per side at NAPA (I recommend) for any size except for a 0-4 degree which in theory allows camber to set back to perfect 0 degrees. That one is 40 dollars per side. I'm going to be doing that and seeing if I can't get F250 springs under this truck with a 2.5 inch level, making about 4" of lift up front
